Artist Statement
Art is a connection with the community and a personal escape or way to express ourselves when words cannot be found. I’ve been drawing all of my life and I feel very blessed to be able to continue producing and having the opportunities that have been presented to me. It is very difficult to describe the type of art that I like to do and the medium, because it on the day and how I feel but I really enjoy creating paint pours, doing portraits, painting landscapes and capturing popular art or coming up with original concepts. Art is limitless. I enjoy charcoal, acrylic, oil and inks. Through my business; BE Art, I am able to connect with people through casual painting classes, rock hunts, custom murals and commissions, as well as pop art sales of whatever themes I desire. Biography
Blanca Estrada was drawing on the walls since she could move the sofa out of her way. As of June 3rd 2022; she became a full time artist. Prior to that, she was a Math teacher at Bowie high school for 6 years while simultaneously running her business: B.E. Art in which she provides casual painting classes, murals, Pop up art sales at local markets, Comicons, and completes commissions of many forms and styles. Her specialty is Portraits in charcoal, but she is not limited to any subject or medium.
